Maldon Court Preparatory School

Maldon Court Preparatory School prides itself on providing a happy, secure and stimulating environment where children are encouraged and developed in all aspects of the broad and balanced curriculum. We are a small friendly proprietorial school which is regularly commended for its family ethos.  Pastoral care is of the highest standard where children learn the traditional values of respect for themselves, respect for each other and respect for their environment.

Mrs Coyle and pupils

The committed and dedicated staff ensure that the children reach their full potential through high expectations, hard work and a positive atmosphere. I believe that Maldon Court Preparatory School achieves success by allowing children to flourish.  Differing abilities are recognised, encouraged and celebrated. Children attending Maldon Court Preparatory School leave as happy, well rounded and confident individuals ready to meet the challenge of the wider world.  We love our school and happily so do our children!

At Maldon Court Preparatory School the pupils follow a wide syllabus based on the National Curriculum.

We pride ourselves on our excellent success rate with regards to preparing our children for the 11+ entry into Grammar Schools and Entrance tests for Independent Senior Schools.

This section of the web site outlines our philosophies and policies towards the requirements of the school curriculum.

In the Pre-Prep we aim to provide a happy stimulating environment with emphasis on the all round development of your child.  We aim to provide an environment where children can grow in confidence, become independent and have feelings of high self worth.

Play is the basis of the Pre-Prep curriculum and we aim to provide an enjoyable, secure and stimulating environment where each child can develop social, physical and intellectual skills at their own pace.

There are carefully planned and constructed areas within the Pre-Prep from which your child will gain valuable learning experiences such as baking, painting, craft work, sand and water trays, musical activities and a book corner.  When children show an interest in various topics these will be further provided to enhance their natural curiosity.
