At the heart of our work is a concern that every child is given the opportunity to be successful in school, and that they can be supported and encouraged to develop the skills, talents and abilities that will allow them to be participants and contributors to society after school.

We are an inclusive school that has a high regard for the role that every individual can play in making the school successful. Striving to be the best we can be is at the root of the experiences and activities that take place every day. In the way we work together, staff, students, parents and Governors we aim to offer help to those who need it and accept help in return. All are welcome to join us, in whatever capacity, so that we can, through our Learning Communities, help forge an appreciation of how the wider community works.

Visitors are welcome to the school at any time, young people of all ages and abilities work together, with teacher and non-teachers alike, to create a positive atmosphere that supports learning at every level.
