Our school council consists of 16 representatives, one per class, who meet to discuss ways the school might be further improved. Meetings take place fortnightly on a Monday lunchtime.

There is a name call to check that each class representative is present followed by a badge check.  (It is important that councillors are easily identified)

Each class has its own suggestion box and class members are encouraged to contribute realistic suggestions which will lead to school improvement. During the meetings the merits of each suggestion are discussed.

Councillors are expected to be punctual at all times.  Each class should send the deputy councillor in instances of absence.  Meetings last approximately 30 minutes.  On Fridays councillors feed back to their own classes, using the classroom interactive whiteboard and minutes on this website as well as referring to any notes they may have taken.
