Its full title is Llangaffo, A Voluntary School of the Church in Wales and the school has a close relationship with St. Caffo's Church.

The school was opened in 1854 thanks to the church. Today there are 35 pupils taught in 2 classes.

There are two classes in Llangaffo School.

In Class 1 reception, year 1 and year 2 pupils are taught by Mrs Manon Williams the Headmistress with the aid of Mrs Sophia Taylor the nursery assistant.

In Class 2 years 3, 4, 5, and 6 pupils are taught by Mr Osian Rowlands.

The Urdd is the youth movement of Wales and the school's branch always does its best to support the Urdd's activities.
