WELCOME to the Albert Road School website, especially in this historic year for the school. After 103  successful years we are scheduled to relocate at the end of the summer term, 2008, to our new building  to be called  ‘Scoill Ree Gorree’.   Although sad to be leaving the Edwardian site here in the centre of town the staff and pupils are looking forward to moving to the new site with its many facilities.

The ethos of our school is to be a caring environment, following our simple aim – ‘to act with courtesy and consideration to others at all times’. We operate an open door policy – quite tricky in our current building with the office away from the entrance but don’t let this put you off coming in to see us at work and at play.

Whilst ensuring our children continue to develop their academic skills, we enjoy our many and varied extra curricular activities, embracing the Manx culture through creative and expressive arts as well as flying the Albert Road flag in sporting events.
