Angley School - Building Futures Together

Welcome to the Angley School community.  Angley is a thriving and successful school with an established record of excellent results and outstanding achievements in many areas. In their last reports Ofsted stated that “ The Head and governors have created a culture of achievement for all students… very good teaching enables boys and girls to learn equally well.”

Angley is a Specialist College in Sport, Maths with ICT and in Vocational Education. This is a rare recognition of the school’s continued high performance providing many opportunities for all students.  The new Learning School structure provides an excellent platform which will allow everyone to thrive, gaining new skills and having many positive experiences while being supported in a caring and safe environment.

Angley provides an exciting range of activities both in lessons and in teams and clubs which meet at lunchtime and after school. Many students benefit from visits and trips including outward bound programmes, language visits abroad and major expeditions around the world. Around the school our new Harris Sports Centre allows students to follow a range of PE and Sport education programmes, the farm provides rich opportunities for young people to work with animals throughout the year and a thriving equestrian group competes at the highest level in competitions around the country.

We take the education and personal development of all young people seriously at Angley. The school is involved in a number of community projects and we have active partnerships with Cranbrook School and local further education colleges. As a result students of Angley have every chance to follow courses which suit them and which match their ambitions. Our nurturing of high standards and strong personal values  mean that all students develop rapidly into independent and confident young people ready to embrace the opportunities of university education or the world of work.
