Welcome

EDENBRIDGE PRIMARY SCHOOL

" A BRIDGE TO SUCCESS "

Welcome to our website and thank you for your interest in our school. We still have plenty of work to do but hope the new software being used will help us to expand the information published on the site and keep it much more up to date.

In time we plan to have a page for each class to which the children can contribute. We will also reproduce the regular school newsletter, the Grapevine, thus keeping you up to date with school news and diary dates.

We have high expectations for all our children at Edenbridge Primary School. We want our pupils to be happy and successful and we are committed to giving every individual child a chance to develop their talents, whatever they may be.

We are determined to help children achieve whether they are academic high flyers or those in need of a little more support. At the same time we offer opportunities for everyone to participate, and perhaps excel, in a diverse range of after- school activities.

We believe that learning should be fun and children are happy when gaining success in a secure and reassuring environment. We recognise and value the important role that parents play and see effective education as a partnership between home and school.

Our aim is to help the children in our care become self-confident and independent individuals who respect all members of our school community and recognise their growing responsibilities as citizens.

Dr Rosemary Addison
Headteacher

UNIFORM

We have a smart and practical uniform which is simple and serviceable. The basic outfit is economical to buy and keep up and we would like all children to wear school uniform the year round. Wearing uniform makes the children look smart and must, I am sure, make them feel good about themselves and the school to which they belong.

Gathered together here is all the information, provided by the DCSF (Department for Children, Schools and Families), that you need to find out what your child is doing at school and help them with it.
