Welcome to Four Elms Primary School.

There has been a village school at Four Elms for about 150 years and strong links are maintained with the village community. The school was extensively rebuilt and enlarged in 1994 to accommodate four classes of boys and girls from 4 to 11 years old.

It has excellent resources for present day education and new systems are introduced as constant advances are made in the curriculum. RM computers, televisions, videos, cassette radios, a wide range of technology equipment, an extensive library and a large variety of musical instruments are housed within the Central Hall.

The playground includes a separate area for Classes 1 and 2 and children have unrestricted access to the adjacent playing field and its hard surface netball court. Gymnastics, dance, drama and other indoor activities take place in a separate hall.

The organisation of the classes is closely linked with the number of children on roll and the number of teaching staff. Class teachers keep a constant check on children's progress and when difficulties occur arrange for children with special needs to have extra help.
