Welcome!

school

At Luton Infant School our motto is "Growing Together". We place great emphasis on working together as a team to support children's learning. We always take the time to say well done for concentrating, listening, speaking and thinking skills. Raising self~esteem is what we seek to do to enable children to become successful learners and good citizens for the future.

Sue Lythgoe.   Headteacher

OUR SCHOOL

Our school is a large urban Infant school with eleven classes;  4 reception, 3 year 1,  3 year 2, and 1 combined year 1 and 2.

The  main building (above) is a large Victorian  one.We also have a  double mobile, which is used for a year 2 class and as a staff room. Part of our  canteen building, which is shared with the Junior  School, has been converted into a new, large year 2 classroom, with an adjoining Special Needs suite. Our well resourced library is located in the old mobile, in the Junior playground. The Reception classes all have access  to an outdoor play area, which includes a climbing frame and other outdoor equipment.
