St. Anselm’s Roman Catholic Primary School is situated in Temple Hill, Dartford, a lovely town well know for its Central Park, town centre, very old buildings and churches and the Queen Elizabeth II bridge. Dartford is only 45 minutes from London City.
At St. Anselm’s C.P. School in 2005, there were approximately 270 children in Years Reception to 6, with 11 classroom teachers. Many teachers have a specialist subject which they lead and support in the school. We also have 11 Teaching Assistants.
St. Anselm’s C.P. School has many amenities including a large field, a playground, an Early Years play area, an Assembly Hall containing fixed and portable Physical Education equipment, a small library and a computer suite.
Our school computers include 27 RM Window Box PCs, 17 of which are located in the computer suite, all networked and online. These computers are used regularly to extend children’s ICT knowledge and skills, through ICT and cross-curricular lessons.
Our Mission Statement
¨ St Anselm’s School is founded on a belief that God is at the centre of our learning and achievement.
¨ We aim to show the children how to bring God into their lives so that the Catholic Faith is not merely something to be learned but a life to be lived.
¨ As a school we are aware of the responsibilities of leading children to develop a Christian vision of the world.
¨ At St Anselm’s we endeavour to make our school a friendly and caring community, providing conditions which will foster the healthy growth and development of each child’s spiritual, moral, emotional, social and academic education.
¨ We will endeavour to be witnesses to the Gospel values in every aspect of our lives so that we can lead by precept and example.
¨ We will endeavour to be a worshiping community who see prayer at the centre of their daily lives. |
