Welcome to the St Martin`s C of E Primary School!
At St Martin 's Church of England Primary School we have faith in God, faith in one another and faith in ourselves. Our purpose is to provide a secure and happy working environment where all members of our school community are valued as individuals and where their achievements are recognised and celebrated.
Within our Christian, caring ethos we promote self-respect and respect of others both in school and within the community. Our aim is to fully develop and educate the whole child, preparing them for the future. We hope you enjoy your visit!
From the Head Teacher, Mrs Kate Love
Welcome to St Martin's Church of England Primary School!
I am delighted to welcome you to the website for St Martin’s Church of England Primary School.
Our school currently has 200 pupils, organised into 7 classes, and a team of dedicated and caring staff.
Our school motto is “Faith and Endeavour” or “We believe and we do our best”. We value every member of school community, and we believe it is important to recognise and celebrate all their achievements. Our aim is that each and every child should have faith in their own ability to achieve, and should enjoy learning.
We are proud to be a Church of England Primary School, and we enjoy close links with St Martin’s Church. Each week the children go to Church for an assembly led by the Rector, Rev Hilary Jones, who is also our Chair of Governors. We are, however, fortunate enough to have pupils and staff from a variety of cultures and faiths. Sharing in the celebration of festivals which are an important part of their lives is part of the richness of our school community.
I would like to thank our ICT Club for all their hard work helping to design this website which I hope you find interesting and informative.
