About Us
St Thomas' Catholic Primary opened in September 1977 with 47 children. It was established to serve the children who live within the Catholic parishes of Sevenoaks, Edenbridge and Westerham.
Over the years the school roll has increased to well over two hundred children. This has meant additional accommodation has had to be provided by the governors. With the assistance of funds from various sources, including the Archdiocese of Southwark, Kent County Council, the DfES, and the three parishes, the school now has permanent buildings and facilities to accommodate around 230 children. |

In 1982 the original buildings were extended with further classrooms and a library. The extension included a Parish Hall/Centre which houses the St Thomas' Pre-school. Between 1991 and 1996 a double mobile and single mobile were provided and an additional playground area was built, together with an Activity Centre and Quiet Area. A new teaching base attached to the main building, was completed in September 2000 and a modern ICT suite added in 2004. In 2006, the Activity Centre was relocated to make room for a new Early Years play area.
