UNIFORM

We take pride in our school and expect all children to wear the school uniform.  Uniform also saves those morning arguments about what to wear!

The Brent uniform may be bought from local shops and mail order catalogues.  Items highlighted in red, you may order from the school office.

PE bags, book bags and sports caps may also be purchased from the school office.

Girls uniform

Winter Summer
  • White or yellow blouse or polo shirt.

  • Navy v-neck jumper, cardigan or sweatshirt with Brent logo.

  • Navy or white socks or tights.

  • Navy or grey skirt, pinafore dress or trousers.

  • Black, navy or brown shoes.

  • Blue/white gingham dress.

  • Brent logo dress.

  • White or yellow polo or t-shirt.

  • Brent yellow logo t-shirt with plain navy shorts or skirt.

  • Black, navy, brown or white shoes.  

Boys uniform

  • black, navy or white shorts
  • plimsolls
  • jogging bottoms for outdoor PE in cold weather (any colour)
  • trainers for outdoor PE
Important note:

Jewellery should not be worn to school.  A wristwatch is acceptable.  Please ensure that your child wears clothes and shoes that he/she can change independently.  Please ensure that all your child's belongings are clearly named.

After school clubs run for children in Years 1-6. Some clubs are restricted to certain year groups.

These special events are in addition to many friendly fixtures organised with local schools.

Special Sporting Events

Each year; children limber up, obstacles are brought out, eggs and spoons are dusted off and parents slap on the sun cream to watch and enjoy The Brent's sports day.

FROM THE HEADTEACHER

There has been a school at The Brent for over a hundred years. We have a wonderful mixture of old and new buildings, extensive grounds and excellent resources for learning.

The staff team is hardworking, enthusiastic and very committed to our school motto of "Successful Enjoyable Learning for Everyone". We are all very proud of our school and of our pupils. I do hope you enjoy browsing our website and finding out more about the world of The Brent School.
