MISSION STATEMENT

"Willesborough Infant School recognises that all children are different and aims to teach them according to age, needs and abilities in an environment where they are all equally valued."

Here at Willesborough Infant School we aim to extend the children's knowledge of themselves and the world in which they live, to develop skills and concepts and to help them relate to others and develop a sense of self respect.

Parents are encouraged to keep in close contact with the school and to attend parent / teacher consultations and educational meetings. Teachers are pleased to discuss what is happening in school.

Each child is placed in a class in which there are children of his / her own age group, without regard to the ability of the individual child; each child is given as much individual attention as possible, in a class of up to 30 children. We are a very large Infant school yet in spite of this we feel that we are a very happy family.
