THE SCHOOL

Crudie Primary School is a small rural school to the East of the town of Turriff serving the community of Crudie and the surrounding area.

The present building was erected in 1959 to replace the old school which was on the same site.

The building is comprised of 2 classrooms, a gym hall, a library and kitchen. We also have a portacabin which serves as a 3^rd classroom when the roll rises above 47 pupils.

The nearest main town is Turriff and most of our pupils transfer to the Academy there at the end of their primary schooling.

We maintain a close and positive working relationship with the academy which enables our pupils to have a smooth transition into their secondary education.

SCHOOL HOURS

School begins each morning at 9.15 am for all pupils. Break time is from 10.45 am until 11 o’clock and lunch is from 12.30 pm until 1.30 pm. The day for Primaries 1, 2 and 3 finishes at 2.45 pm and for Primaries 4, 5, 6 and 7 the day ends at 3.30 pm.

CRUDIE CRUSADERS

 The Crudie Crusaders are a group of four girls that look after everyone in the playground we also serve up the milk shakes and play all sorts of games that anyone can play. It’s a tiring job but worth it in the end. Our motto is “Never fear the Crudie Crusaders are here”.
