Peckover Primary School is situated in the town of Wisbech in north Cambridgeshire. Wisbech is known as 'the capital of the Fens' - a part of England that is well known for the flat landscape, clear blue skies and agriculture and associated industries.

Peckover Primary School has 300 pupils aged between 4 and 11. There are 10 classes, with 12 teachers and 26 support staff. The school is lucky to have excellent facilities including an ICT suite with 14 state-of-the-art PCs, 2 libraries, a resources room with a kitchen and a large hall with a stage. There are 2 large playgrounds with grass areas and wooden play structures.
	The school was recently awarded the 'Artsmark' by the Arts Council. This is recognition for the school's work in the arts and creativity - art, music and drama. The presentation took place in Cambridge. There are many creative activities taking place, both during the school day and afterwards. We have a number of stimulating displays in the classrooms. the foyer, the corridors and the hall.
