Welcome to Teversham C E (A) Primary School
Primary School has been in existence since 1861 and since the early 1980’s has slowly grown from a school of 60 children and three classes to our present roll of 160 children in six classes. We are situated just outside of the east of Cambridge at the edge of Teversham village. We are very inclusive (Ofsted report Dec 03). We work hard to make learning fun and emphasise the value of citizenship.
The school is sponsored by the Marshall Group of Companies.
We work with eleven other primary schools in the Bottisham area of Cambridgeshire under the name of 'Circle Link Schools'.
The school has had two Ofsted Inspections in July 1998 and December 2003. Both were “good school”, inspections.
We are a friendly but firm school and believe that children should be encouraged to behave and therefore create a calm learning ethos / environment. The children are involved in decision-making through an elected School Council, House Captains and Year 6 Peer Support. Citizenship and academic / individual achievement are two areas of development that the governors of the school promote.
