Welcome to The Vine Inter-Church Primary School.

The Vine is a new school serving the growing community of Cambourne near Cambridge. We opened our doors for the first time in September 2005 to welcome 88 pupils aged between 4 and 11 taught in 4 classes. Our numbers are steadily growing and by December 2005 we reached 112 pupils and 5 classes.

For this first year we are housed in temporary accommodation consisting of a community hall and office area plus 4 temporary classrooms. However, in the field next door we can see our new school building growing day by day into a splendid new school that will have room for 420 pupils when it is completed. We are really looking forward to moving into our new building in September 2006.

As our school is so new there is much that is evolving and it is our vision for this website that over the forthcoming weeks and months it too will evolve. In the future we hope that you will be able to join us online to find out about our exciting learning community.
