Welcome to Winhills

Welcome to the website for Winhills Primary School, St. Neots, Cambridgeshire.

Winhills Primary School provides an excellent, caring and secure learning environment for children aged 3 to 11 years old that live within the surrounding area of the school and Eynesbury Manor.

The school enjoys spacious internal and external accommodation. This includes recently refurbished ICT suite and library as well as food technology and design and technology areas.

The development of our large, bright and stimulating teaching and learning area for Early Years (3-5yrs old) children has now been completed along with improvements to this areas outside learning environment.

LOGO

School Logo History

The Winhills School Logo was originally designed for Winhills Junior School in 1969, prior to its amalgamation with the Infant School. The design represents two events that took place during 1969:

  • Firstly the heptagon represents the 50p coin (left) that was introduced to replace the ten-shilling note
  • The moon shape records the historic moment, on 21st July 1969, when Neil Armstrong (left) became the first man to walk on the moon.
