Wrap Around Care:
  • The Dale prides itself on maintaining a supportive and caring atmosphere. This extends from the pre-school through reception and onto Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. It is our aim to educate and support, and a major indicator of success for us is the confidence with which our pupils leave to progress onto secondary school.
  • The Dale prides itself on providing a warm, caring and friendly atmosphere which nurtures the whole child.
  • Our small school offers full wrap-around care from on 7.30a.m. to 5.45p.m. with before and after school care clubs. Also pre-school provides a variety of sessions.

Pre-School

We provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment where your child will want to learn. We will provide a wide variety of learning opportunities to develop their skills, which cover the six areas of the Early Years Curriculum.

We aim to develop your child’s confidence and independence to enable them to make purposeful choices, form relationships with peers and staff and encourage a good self image.

We are committed to fostering moral and spiritual welfare of caring for each other as well as for ourselves. We promote aesthetic development, enjoyment and appreciation of cultures including our own.

Located on the site of The Dale Primary School, The Dale Pre-school caters for children aged from 2 years and 6 months to starting school and is OFSTED registered to take a maximum of 24 children. The sessions are 9.00am to 11.30 and 1.00pm to 3.30pm with the flexibility for an early start at 8.30am, lunchtime cover from 11.30am to 1.00pm and a later finish at 4.30pm if required. You can mix and match session to suit your needs. Children aged 3 and 4 receive five free sessions a week.
