Welcome to Harmony Hill !

We hope you enjoy this visit to our website and seeing just a snapshot of the vibrant life of our busy school.

Our school is situated on Harmony Hill in the Lambeg district of Lisburn,  and we are fortunate to have an extensive site, in a tree lined setting, which provides an excellent environment for primary education.

Our school aims are all focused on happiness, well being and high quality learning experiences for the children. We aim to create a caring and positive school community which offers respect and opportunity to all.

The children of Harmony Hill are friendly and well motivated to learn and our teachers are dedicated and skilled. We also enjoy excellent support from parents and this is a key factor in the many successes of the school and the high standards achieved by the children.

We provide for children aged 3 – 11 years, from Nursery to P7, and offer the children a wide range of learning experiences and after school activities.

Mission Statement & School Aims

We are committed to providing high quality learning in a safe, caring and happy environment based upon respect for all.  In partnership with parents and the community we aim to provide positive and stimulating experiences, which enable children to be lifelong learners in a changing world.

In Harmony Hill we aim to,

Create a positive climate where everyone in our school community feels valued and encouraged.

Encourage and develop a sense of self esteem.

Encourage respect for self and others.

 Facilitate effective learning and teaching.

Maintain a safe and orderly environment.

In Harmony Hill we believe that if we can achieve these simple aims then our children will flourish and thrive on the many and varied opportunities provided for them by dedicated teachers and support staff working with the support of parents.

The achievement of these aims is facilitated through detailed and thoughtful planning and evaluation of what the children learn.
