Tandragee is situated in Mid-Ulster near to the towns of Armagh, Portadown, Banbridge and Lurgan.

The school, which lies in a picturesque setting on the outskirts of the town, was opened in 1963 and extended in 1976 to its present accommodation which is fully equipped and resourced to deal with all aspects of the Key Stage 3 Northern Ireland Curriculum.  New Science Laboratories, Technology Suite and refurbished Mathematic facilities were completed in 2004/05.  A new state of the art Computer Suite and an ultra modern Music Suite were added in 2006. There are 235 pupils in the school and class sizes are approximately 20 pupils.  A Learning Support Centre provides for the education of Statemented pupils.
