Welcome back to school to all our children, and to you the parents, guardians and carers. Welcome to all our new pupils; we hope they will be happy and enjoy their experiences at school. To our last year's P7's we wish good luck, health and happiness in their new schools - adh mór orthu.

Class Times
P1 - 3: 8.50am - 1.45pm (4 hours' class time)
P4 - 7: 8.50am - 2.45pm (5 hours' class time)
Break: 10.45am - 11.00am
First Dinner (P1-4): 12.10pm - 12.45pm
Second Dinner (P5-7): 12.35pm - 1.10pm

Thank you for your co-operation in ensuring that children arrive on time in the mornings and leave in the afternoons punctually. P3-7 children should be left at the school gate. In order to facilitate the teachers in establishing a smooth routine, Primary One and Two children should be brought to the classroom door or left at the school gate. P1-3 children should be collected at Mrs Rooney's room (P1/2 classroom) at 1.45pm.

Child Protection

1. Consent for taking photographs
In order to protect the children the law now requires us to have parental consent for the taking and publishing of photographs. If you do not give consent for us to take and publish photographs of your child/children this year, please let me know in writing on or before 14th September; if you give your consent you do not need to do anything.

2. Internet Safety
In order to use the internet in school, all pupils must have permission from a parent/guardian. If you do not give consent for your child/children to use the internet in school please let me know in writing on or before 14th September; if you give your consent you do not need to do anything.

Special Needs Meetings

Mrs S McConville, Special Needs Co-ordinator, will be meeting with parents this term to discuss children's Individual Education Plans. Parents will be notified of the times of the meetings. If your child is not on our Special Needs Register and you feel he or she needs extra help, or if you have concerns, please get in touch with Mrs McConville, the class teacher or me.
