About our School
Burnhope Primary School is located in the centre of a village with an area of mixed private and council housing.
The school is situated in extensive grounds and we have gardens, a wild area, two playing fields, a play area, one tarmac netball court and a separate play area for nursery and reception children.
Our school consists of an Early Years Unit (reception and nursery) in one area of the school and three classrooms in the main building. The school is well resourced with a hall, library, separate dining hall and two cloakrooms. The Early Years Unit is organised into two teaching areas, a reception area and a nursery area. The children are organised into classes, each class being in the care of a class teacher who is responsible for the child's progress. Class teachers work closely with their colleagues to ensure curriculum continuity and progression. |
