Our School

The aims of our school for every child are as follows:

To be respectful and value each other and ourselves.  By doing this, others will respect us.

To be polite and honest.  By doing this we will be trusted.

To work well with our teachers and be eager to learn.  By this we will achieve our best.

To behave well so that we are all safe and happy.  By doing this we will become valuable members of the community.

To be proud of our achievements, so that our teachers and families will be proud of us and our school.

If we do our best we can achieve anything and have a wonderful life

Clubs

There is always lots going on in Crook Primary School!!

Mrs Carnighan runs an art club on Mondays and Tuesdays for years 3 and 4.

Miss Freeman has started an aerobic class on Friday lunchtimes for years 5 and 6.

Miss Freeman also organises the school council.  Two children in each class from year 1 to 6 meet to discuss school issues.  The council have already organised a successful ‘non-uniform’ day to raise money for our link school in Tanzania and are currently producing a school newspaper.  They have lots of other exciting projects on the way…

A local Judo club run a Tuesday lunchtime session for year 5 and 6 children.  The children are progressing nicely and two have won prizes.

Miss Young, our P.E. co-ordinator organises lots of sporting activities:-
