Our school is a mixed Primary School catering for children from four to eleven years of age.
The original building was built in 1908 but as the needs of the community have grown, the school has been extended to accommodate those needs.  Today we have a pleasant marriage between old and new buildings offering spacious accommodation and resources to meet the demands of good primary school education.
The reception infant class is situated in a self-contained unit with its own toilet and cloakroom facilities.  Meals are cooked on the premises and served in our school hall, also used by those children who choose to bring a packed lunch.
The school has its own playing field and tarmacadam playing surface adjacent to the main building with its own gardens.

To provide a first class education for all, providing equal opportunities so that each child can aspire to develop his or her full potential.
To encourage the school to develop as a family, with parents, staff, children and governors leading by example so that tolerance and respect become natural.
To foster a positive attitude to learning, as well as a sense of creativity and an appreciation of beauty.
To develop a sociable, responsible attitude towards the community at large, including different cultures and religions, and to prepare each child for their place within it.
To work in partnership with parents to achieve self-confident, thinking children who have high self-esteem and are able to express opinions and ideas.
To foster sensitivity, enduring values and caring relationships by providing opportunity for spiritual and moral development.
To encourage community use of our school and make it a centre and sender of excellence.

Would parents kindly note that the road immediately outside the school is extremely busy especially at the end of the school day.
To ensure the safety of children leaving the premises, it would be helpful if parents park with consideration for all.
