PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
The Governing Body encourage parents to help in any way they can to ensure their child and the school benefits in all areas of education, for example - helping with homework hearing their child read helping in school when necessary attending parents consultation evenings helping and participating in fund raising events (the money from which helps children have a more fulfilling education in all areas of the curriculum)
Attendance is important, particularly with the National Curriculum, and how it is organised. Children do lose continuity of education if they have time away from school over a few days.
Children do lose continuity of education if they have time away from school over a few days. Holidays taken during term time are done so knowing that the child will miss a considerable part of National Curriculum work. Children are withdrawn from school, therefore, on the understanding that this loss is the parents' responsibility.
When your child attends school, even for one day, we expect that whoever brings the child to school (our contact parent) will collect the child. Please inform the class teacher or other member of staff of any other arrangement. This is obviously a precaution in order to preserve the safety of your child,in which we need your co-operation. |
