Donisthorpe Primary School serves the communities of Donisthorpe and Moira. Children start the Foundation Stage here when they are four. We also have an intake from Moira Infants' School when they finish Year 2. When they are eleven, the children transfer to Ivanhoe College.
We are a successful school with two positive OFSTED reports. We are also proud to have been awarded the School Achievement Award for three consecutive years and the Basic Skills Quality Mark for the second time covering a period of six years.

The original part of the school was built in 1907 and is a typical example of buildings of that period although the school has undergone considerable development over the last few years due mainly to house building in the catchment area. The Edwardian exterior has been retained but when you visit you will see a much more modern interior. |
