Our school is set in its own grounds with 3 playgrounds and a large field. Adjoining the field is Kinson Common which is a recognised Site of Special Scientific Interest.
We have a music and drama studio and Community Room adjoining the Playgroup building. We have strong links with the playgroup and many of our Foundation stage children attended Playgroup and joined in with school activities while there. The lower playground has had a recent landscape makeover providing a paved area and garden. The new fencing along this boundary makes an attractive entrance for the main school and improves security for all our children. We are really pleased with the pirate ship and assault course which the PFA worked so hard to fund. All the children love playing on this. More information about the PFA can be found on their pages in the About Us section.

The Foundation stage Unit has its own fenced area for structured outdoor play and is close to the pirate ship and field. The top playground is next to this and there is easy access to this from all infant classrooms. |
Our large field is used for games and matches throughout the year and there is plenty of room for participants and spectators during sports day and other events. In fine weather, it is used at playtimes for extra space for the children to play on. |
