Mudeford Infants school is two form entry school located on the outskirts of Christchurch, Dorset. We are very lucky to be in walking distance of a marsh and quay which are used regularily by our children to enhance their curriculum.
There are 180 children aged between 4 and 7 and enjoy the friendly, informative and caring place that is our school.
Our vision is of a school that has high expectations of its children and the adults who work here; it is a place where learning is enjoyable, exciting and continuous.
It is a school for celebrating diversity, ensuring fairness of opportunity and where responsible and confident attitudes prevail.
We have a vision of a school where pupils and staff feel valued by their peers and within the community.
Mudeford Community Infants School aims are to develop close and supportive links between children, staff, parents and the community and provide a warm and welcoming environment in which all are valued and are inspired to learn.
We aim to provide equality of opportunity for all with respect to individual needs. We seek to provide a stimulating and creative environment in which everyone is able to develop their learning, aesthetic awareness and social skills with confidence and self-esteem to enable them to become learners for life.
We endeavour to recognise each person’s potential through offering a wide variety of challenging, enjoyable and differentiated experiences that maximise attainment and promote high standards. We aim for each individual to make decisions, take responsibility, evaluate and achieve their full potential.
We will celebrate and value each individual for their unique qualities. We are committed to racial equality and we will continue to work to eliminate racial discrimination.
We aim to provide guidance to promote a high standard of behaviour through shared spiritual and moral values within the framework of a supportive school community.
