Football
Football takes place in the Autumn and Spring terms and allows any child in Years 3 to 6 to enjoy playing and practising their skills. Our teams play regularly against other local schools.

Chess
Chess is played at lunchtimes throughout the year. All children from Yr 2 upwards are very welcome.

Art
A weekly after school club for the juniors gives small groups opportunities to further develop skills learnt in class. | |
Netball
Netball is played in the Autumn and Spring terms. We are lucky to have a floodlit court for practice and matches. | |
Choir and Band
Many of our excellent musicians represent the school in our band and choirs. We really enjoy the fruits of their work at end of term services and on many other occasions. | |
Dance
Modern and country dancing is done at school and many of our school performances and assemblies are graced by wonderful dancers. |
Gardening
Our school environment is very important and the Gardening group help to keep it looking smart. | |
ICT
In computer club we have opportunities to use the camera, to produce displays and produce power point presentations. | |
Athletics

Cooking
Teaching year 6 to cook has its challenges but the end result is gorgeous. We have prepared and cooked pizzas, fairy cakes, jam and treacle tarts and fruit salad with "langues de chat" biscuits so far this term. A skill for life.

Running
In running club we learn how to sprint, make good starts and build stamina with longer distances. | |
Country Dancing
Years 1 and 2 enjoy country dancing club every Monday. They learn lots of local folk dances! | |
Cricket Club
Cricket Club runs after school throughout the Summer term. | |
Cross Country Club
Our cross country club entered its first event in March - the Sherborne Area Cross Country event at the Gryphon School. One of our Year 6 pupils came first in the boys race and the girls did brilliantly too! | |
Swimming Club
During the Summer Term the children can attend after school swimming sessions in our fantastic pool. | |
Ball Skills Club
The infant children can join Ball Skills Club which runs on Thursdays after school. | |
Clay Club
This class 6 club have made several exciting creations this term. We have made recently these magnificent ceramic ships using the slab method. | |
Art Club - Year 1 & 2
The chldren in this lunch time club have a chance to make lots of exciting creations.This term they have made these delightful ceramic candle holders. | |
