St Augustine's Catholic College is co-educational and is one of the Government's specialist schools designated a Technology College in 1998. The College serves students from the West Wiltshire areas of Trowbridge, Devizes, Bradford on Avon, Westbury, Warminster and Melksham, together with students living in the Frome area of East Somerset. Students also travel to the College from other Wiltshire areas. The roll in September 1999 is approximately 850 students aged between eleven and eighteen years. In accordance with relevant Education Acts, the Governors will give consideration to all students who wish to join the College.
To apply for admission to St. Augustine’s, parents who have not received information from the College in the October prior to admission, indicating that their child will be considered for admission to St. Augustine’s the following September, should contact the Head Master. There is a right of appeal for parents in respect of decisions on admissions made by the Governors of St. Augustine’s.
