Warminster School is an independent, day and boarding school for boys and girls from the age of 3 to 18. Warminster is well-known for delivering an excellent education tailored to the individual needs of your child, with an outstanding range of opportunities outside the classroom. Pupils are happy and balanced and encouraged to seek excellence in everything they do.

At Warminster, our pupils enjoy superb facilities and a fantastic campus set in over sixty acres of countryside where Wiltshire, Avon, Somerset and Dorset meet. Pupils travel in from Bath, Bristol and Salisbury, and many come from further afield and use our boarding facilities.

Your choice of school is a vitally important question.  We urge all pupils and parents who are thinking about Warminster School to visit us, either at one of our Open Mornings or for an individual tour of the School. We would be delighted to welcome you!

 Welcome to Warminster Prep School

Warminster Prep School has a friendly, family atmosphere and is filled with cheerful, enthusiastic and busy children.

We provide a happy and caring environment in which each child is valued and is encouraged to develop at his or her own pace, to explore the multitude of opportunities open to them and to achieve more than they ever thought possible, and to have fun doing it!

Whilst we insist on good manners and teach the children to respect each other, we also aim to develop independence and self-confidence.

This website offers a glimpse of our school but cannot fully convey the happy and stimulating environment that we provide. Please come for a visit to appreciate our school at work and play.

Warminster School enjoys first-class teaching facilities, high academic expectations and excellent pastoral care for both boarders and day pupils. These strengths enable the School to provide an outstanding environment in which our pupils benefit from a broad and stimulating education and develop into confident, outward-looking and well-rounded young people.

Please do come and visit us for a tour of the School and a chance to meet the pupils and staff. I look forward to welcoming you.
