Welcome to Askwith Community Primary School Website
Set in the beautiful North Yorkshire scenery, Askwith Community Primary School is a small village school lying between Otley and Ilkley. The school serves the Askwith and Denton area. The standards set in the school are very high. The children enjoy a hard-working, calm atmosphere in which they are able to flourish.
The school has made good use of the new school field acquired in Spring 2006. These uses have included Sports events and health events as well as using it during the summer for some breaktimes.
Our school website has just been updated. Letters to parents as well as information about forth-coming events will be posted on the website. We are starting to build up a Curriculum page to our website. This will eventually include some of the lessons the children do in ICT so they can practice at home if you are connected to the Internet. In addition to this, we are currently building up a history section which will coincide with the centenary of the school in 2008. Contact information is also provided. To see any of the things described in this paragraph, just move your pointer to the link on the blue bar above and click. The school is not responsible for the content of external websites.
