Our school was opened in 1822 and welcomes children from all backgrounds.

We aim to provide an excellent and enjoyable education, offering children a wide range of opportunities.

Recent inspections (November 2006) classed us as “a good and improving school whose distinctive Christian character was good, with outstanding features” and we are proud of our reputation as being caring, friendly and happy. We have strong links to the local church and community.

You are welcome to contact us and arrange a visit so that you can see for yourself what we have to offer.

Message from the Headteacher, Mr Ian Blackburn
