Hello and welcome to our website.
I would like to invite you to take a tour through the various sections of our website so that you can get a feel for our wonderful school. If you are looking for a place for your child then please feel free to make an appointment to visit. We have so much extra to offer your child as my current pupils will tell you!!
Since April 2005 we have been in a new building that offers a quality learning environment both inside and outside for our children. We have lovely light classrooms that look over to the hills, a modern computer suite with 30 computers, a well stocked library, Foundation Stage provision to die for, an allotment, cycling sheds and a huge play area.
Our numbers are growing year on year and this year we began with 302 pupils. Our Foundation and Key Stage one classes are full and the remaining 13 spare places are in KS2.
A happy purposeful atmosphere prevails at our school where the 14 teachers, 18 support staff, 4 play coordinators and 5 lunchtime staff work and play together to give our school a real buzz of excitement. Last year we achieved three major awards: The Advanced Level of the Leeds Healthy Schools, The Inclusion Charter mark and The Green Flag for the Eco- Schools. These awards demonstrate our commitment to excellence and the desire to develop the whole child.
We are looking forward to another exciting year with three specialist curriculum weeks organised; P.E., Maths & Technology and Environmental. We will also be having a Health Day and a Day of Action when we all tackle environmental issues such as composting, recycling, planting trees and much more.
