Buckingham Community Middle School
Buckingham Road, BN43 5UD Shoreham-by-Sea

Head Teacher's Zone

We are an 8-12 middle school covering both Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. Our position in Shoreham-by-Sea, on the edge of the town enables us to have easy access to the town, the port, the river, the beach and the downs. Our close proximity to Brighton and Worthing means we can enjoy the facilities of a city and large town.

I really believe we should use these facilities to the full, enabling all pupils to gain first hand experiences of environmental, historical, geographical, sporting and cultural amenities.

We work hard to maintain and develop links with the community so if you are reading this and you think we could benefit from linking with you – please let us know!

There is always something going on here at Buckingham. This makes for a lot of hard work and organisation but gives so much to the pupils who we know learn best by doing rather than just by being told! I am proud of our strong tradition in the arts: music, dance, poetry, literature, art and craft all feature strongly, complimenting our many other strengths, such as our school grounds, displays and highly-motivated staff.

This is a very busy, exciting place to be, with a dedicated staff and supportive parents. Come along and see for yourself.

Buckingham Community Middle School Prospectus.
