Lifeskills at Torquay Fire Station , Pizza Express, Joseph at Princess Theatre, Buckfast Abbey, Paignton Green Roadshow, Dawlish Warren, Gaia Wind Farm, Spanish Experience at Bristol, Theatre Alibi at Dartington, Godspell at Princess Theatre, Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museums in St Ives, Tate Modern, Millenium Bridge, Houses of Parliament and London Docklands, The Davis Cup in London, and the Clothes Show in Birmingham. The girls also enjoy several overseas trips, including visits to France, Italy, Austria and Australia.

STOODLEY NATURE TRAIL
Stoodley has also begun a regeneration project in its beautiful woodland overlooking the sea - nature trails have been created, trees thinned and others planted.

This delightful environmental classroom offers opportunities for seeing deer, badger, foxes, many birds and, over the coming months, more and more wild flowers.

DARTMOOR & THE COAST
Throughout the school we make full use of the wonderful amenities on our doorstep.

ICT

At Stoodley Knowle, the ICT curriculum is based on the acquisition of transferable skills. Pupils take both internal and external ICT examinations, which prepare them for both further education and life in the modern workplace. Senior pupils' external 'examination record' is outstanding.

OCR NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS: During 2007 64 girls from Years 9 - 12 took the Text and Word Processing examinations at Stages One and Two. 84 Pass and/or Distinction grades were awarded.

THE INTERNET is available in all sections of the school and, as in all schools, access is password protected and currently restricted to 'only with adult supervision'.

NURSERY
In the Nursery, the computer is used to demonstrate and reinforce learning activities, such as reading and mathematics.

This is made fun through a selection of interactive educational software.

JUNIORS
The Junior ICT room has six computers, colour printers and a scanner which are used by pupils for project work.
Girls in the Junior School won a computer system for the school when they entered an environmental competition. Girls can also increase their computer skills and their knowledge of a wide variety of software packages in the Junior ICT Club.

SENIORS
The Senior ICT room is available for use by pupils when the room is not being used for classes. We also have computers in the Careers Room and the Art Room where all art students can explore Visual Art software; this includes graphic design, CAD, desktop publishing, animation, photographic manipulation and enhancement, and use of hyperlinked interactive multimedia.

The Senior ICT Club offers girls the opportunity to extend their computer skills, improve their investigative abilities, and undertake research using the Internet, as well as giving them the facility to present their work in a professional format.
