Yeo Valley is a County Primary school for pupils aged 3-11 years. It has its own nursery for children from the age of 3 years. The school has a pupil admission number of 60 for each year group. There are 303 pupils in the school, most of whom come from the immediate area around the school.
The school is situated in the middle of Barnstaple on a large site. The building is Victorian and became a primary school in 1976. There is a separate foundation area which has extensive outdoor provision.
Yeo Valley is a caring school and has a committed and hard working staff. We have recently re-modernised our computer suite and now have an all inclusive Information Centre which incorporates this new computer suite with the best resourced and equipped library anyone could wish for.
If you are looking for a primary school place for your child I strongly recommend that you make an appointment and visit the school. I am sure that once you have been in the school you will get the same warm, happy, secure feeling I have whenever I walk through the door.
Yeo Valley is special and I hope that you will agree
