Dear Parents,

Welcome to St James C. E. Junior School. We believe we have a very good school set in the heart of a thriving village community and we welcome your interest in joining us. We aim to maximise children’s potential in academic and social achievement by providing a high quality learning environment where everyone feels happy and secure and valued. We have a hardworking professional staff who are dedicated and committed to children and their education.

This is a Church of England controlled co-educational day school for children aged 7 to 11. Our admission number is currently 60 for each year group and there are four year groups from Year 3 to Year 6. Most of our children transfer from Arden Forest Infant School which is also in the village of Bulkington.

This booklet is intended to answer many of the questions that parents and children may have about the school, but if there is anything that we have not covered or you prefer to visit the school, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We hope your association with the school will be a long and happy one.

Yours sincerely,

Welcome to St James! Our school is well resourced with good facilities for teaching and learning. The classrooms and work areas are spacious and give the children the opportunity to work in a variety of ways. Click on a Year Group to find out what has been happening this academic year...

The children are encouraged to take pride in this school and its environment and to keep everything in good condition.
