 WELCOME

Welcome to our school where children come first and are at the heart of every aspect of our work.

At Boldmere Infant and Nursery school we want learning to be a rewarding and enjoyable experience for everyone. We know that if we can build the foundations for a love for learning in our young children, that this will give them the best preparation for further learning throughout their lives.

We provide a rich, balanced and creative curriculum. Our standards in literacy and numeracy are consistently high and we have received the Quality Mark, a national recognition of high standards, four times.

We have the highest expectations for all children and we believe that by creating a nurturing environment in which we celebrate achievement, hard work and good behaviour, that we offer the best to all children.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school and hope that you enjoy our website.

Nicki Bell - Headteacher

About Us

Boldmere Infant and Nursery School is a Community school with 270 children on roll.  It is set in beautiful ground on the same site as Boldmere Junior School.  There are three playgrounds and extensive playing fields.  We have a dining room and hall which is used for assembly and PE.  There is a well resourced library and nine traditional classrooms.  Accommodation, including a purpose built parents' room is set around an idyllic courtyard garden which has been developed over the past fifteen years.

Our nursery is state funded, managed by the school's Governing Body and staffed by one teacher and two teaching assistants.  There are 26 part-time places available both morning and afternoon allocated according to the Governors' Admissions Policy.

The Freedom of Information Act requires publicly funded bodies, including schools, to be clear about the information they publish.  We have produced a publication scheme setting out all the information we publish on a regular basis and where to find it.  Ask the school office to let you see the scheme or provide you with a copy free of charge.
