Welcome to Hall Green Infant & Nursery School!

Our school is situated in Hall Green, a leafy suburb of Birmingham. We are a three form entry Infant school with a Nursery. We share our campus with Hall Green Junior School, with whom we have very close links.

We hope you will find plenty of interesting information about our school on this web site. For prospective parents there is information about the school, our ethos, standards and curriculum. For families with children at the school, we aim to provide another form of communication to keep you up to date with school events and help you to support your child. For our children, we hope you will enjoy sharing your work with friends and family, looking back at school events and all the fun and learning that goes on in our school.

We welcome visitors to school, if any prospective parents would like to be shown round school please contact our school secretary in the office to arrange a mutually convenient time.

We value the involvement of the families with children at our school. Many parents and grandparents help in school, either in the classrooms, the library, the office or the wildlife garden. If you have a skill or just some free time we would be delighted if you would join our band of helpers in school. We also have a very active Parents Association – don’t miss their page!

Family members are also invited into school to share in a variety of special events during the year. We hope our web site will help to keep you all up to date.

"Growing and Learning Together” is our school motto. Our owl logo was designed by the children and it represents us growing up and growing wiser.

At our school we want every child to feel valued as an individual. We encourage them to develop academically to the best of their ability but also foster their personal and social development to equip them for the future.

We had our last Ofsted inspection in February 2006 and the report can be downloaded below. We are proud to say that we were outstanding in all areas.
