Our Headteacher, Mrs Rose, helping some of our children with their reading
Welcome to Ward End school's web site. I hope you find the contents on the site an informative guide to what happens at Ward End school.
We are situated in Ingleton Road, Ward End, Birmingham. The school has been on its present site since 1931. Since that time many changes have taken place to the building, including the addition of a new dining room, three new classrooms, nursery and a Sure Start children's centre.
Ward End School is a multi-racial two-form entry school primary school with a nursery. We have 420 children in our school and are proud of them all and their achievements.
We aim to offer an education to all of our children that enables them to enjoy and achieve during their time at Ward End School.
People in our school come from a wide range of backgrounds and a variety of faiths
We place a high value on attendance at Ward End School and believe that children learn something new every day. Therefore we encourage good attendance from our children. Good attendance is celebrated in assemblies and children with 100% attendance are given appropriate rewards.
Ward End School is a Healthy School. We promote this by encouraging our children to take part in regular exercise and to eat a healthy well balanced diet.
Enjoy the tour of the web site and follow the educational experiences that our children take part in.
Best wishes
