WELCOME!!!
Oxgang Primary School is situated within a residential area on the east side of Kirkintilloch and is an integral part of the community both educationally and socially. Pupils attend from the catchment areas in Rosebank and Oxgang housing estates. Approximately half of the pupils come by placing request from the Hillhead area.
We are a non-denominational, co-educational school for all stages from Primary 1 to Primary 7. Pupils normally transfer to the adjacent Kirkintilloch High School for secondary education.
Here at Oxgang our aim is to provide a happy safe and caring environment where children learn respect for themselves and for others. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum and work to ensure our pupils achieve the highest possible standards according to their ability. We aim to help our pupils to become independent learners, creative, healthy and develop a positive attitude to life.
AIMS OF THE SCHOOL
