Ysgol Bryn Hedydd is an urban school located in the middle of a largely residential area on the Eastern outskirts of Rhyl.

It caters for the full range of primary age pupils from Early Years through Key Stage 1 and into Key Stage 2.

The school has approximately 458 pupils on roll.
These are organised mainly in classes of approximately 30 pupils.

The school has a large number of non-academic activities to offer pupils. Many sporting and practical activities take place in After School Clubs and there are others which take place during break times.

Attached to Ysgol Bryn Hedydd is a flourishing After School Club which supervises its members until
6.00 p.m. This operates from Monday to Friday during the school term and also during the school holidays.

There is also a Breakfast Club where pupils are supervised from 7.45 a.m. until the school day begins at 8.45 a.m.

The school's mission statement is to "For everyone (governors, staff and pupils) to try to improve upon previous best"
